Abstract
- A study conducted at Federal University Paraiba in Brazil examined the impact of mental fatigue induced by playing video games on decision-making skills in professional soccer players during a simulated congested match schedule. The research involved sixteen volunteer players participating in four simulated soccer matches with intervals between them. The study found that mental fatigue caused by video games prior to matches impaired decision-making skills in the players, particularly affecting response time. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in Current Psychology. [Extracted from the article]
