Abstract

A study conducted at Jilin University in Changchun, People's Republic of China, focused on the synthesis of a carbon-based copper nanozyme with sulfur/nitrogen codoping for enhanced peroxidase-like activity. This nanozyme was utilized in a dual-channel paper-based detection method for melatonin, achieving a limit of detection of 0.87 μM and 1.42 μM. The research demonstrated the successful application of this paper-based device in detecting melatonin in drug samples, showcasing promising results for future applications in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
