Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel focused on a rare genetic disorder called Wilson's disease, which affects copper metabolism. The study highlighted a unique case of a 10-year-old girl who exhibited ocular signs of Wilson's disease along with a nevus of Ota, a condition characterized by hyperpigmentation around the eye. This case is believed to be the first report of nevus of Ota in a child diagnosed with Wilson's disease. The patient remains asymptomatic with preserved visual acuity. [Extracted from the article]
