Abstract

Researchers at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine conducted a study comparing the satisfaction and learning benefits of using e-portfolios versus paper portfolios in medical school clinical practice. The study found that students perceived e-portfolios as highly beneficial for documenting activities during clinical practice, but noted that they required more time than paper-based portfolios. The research concluded that improvements in implementation and usability are essential to maximize the potential benefits of e-portfolios in medical education.
