Abstract
- A study conducted at Can Tho University in Vietnam focused on developing nanofibrous membranes for wound healing enhancement by incorporating curcumin using a co-axial electro-spinning method. The research found that the nanofiber membrane effectively released curcumin, exhibited antibacterial properties, and significantly improved wound healing in incised-wound rats. The study concluded that the novel PVA/CCM@CS/PVA/CC nanofiber membrane could be a promising candidate for wound dressing therapeutic applications. The research was financially supported by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training and has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
