Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Qatar University explored the potential anti-diabetic effects of curcumin, a natural polyphenol found in turmeric. The research utilized network pharmacology, molecular docking, and simulation techniques to identify key molecular targets and pathways involved in curcumin's effects on diabetes. The study identified 60 common targets for curcumin in diabetes, highlighting key hub genes and interactions that could serve as potential biomarkers for future advancements in diabetes treatment. This research provides valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying curcumin's anti-diabetic properties, offering a new paradigm for effective diabetes treatment.
