Abstract
- A recent study from Zagazig University in Egypt focused on developing a novel approach to recognizing Arabic sign alphabets using optimized hybrid techniques. The study combined a convolutional neural network with traditional machine learning algorithms and achieved high classification accuracy of nearly 99% on a dataset of 32 different classes of Arabic alphabet letters. The research aims to address communication barriers faced by hard of hearing individuals, highlighting the importance of bridging communication gaps for improved education and employment opportunities. The study has been peer-reviewed and offers valuable insights into the potential of machine learning in sign language recognition. [Extracted from the article]
