Abstract
- Researchers at the School of Life Sciences in Bengbu, People's Republic of China, have conducted a study on the effects of arecoline hydrobromide on male germ cells. The study found that arecoline hydrobromide inhibited cell proliferation and promoted apoptosis in spermatogenic cells, leading to a decrease in sperm count and an increase in testosterone levels in mice. The research, which has been peer-reviewed, sheds light on the impact of arecoline hydrobromide on spermatogenesis and male reproduction.
