Abstract
- A study conducted by researchers at China Medical University in Tainan, Taiwan, explored the association between granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (GCSF) treatment and the risk of brain metastasis in advanced stage breast cancer patients. The retrospective cohort study found that patients who received GCSF treatment had a significantly higher incidence of brain metastasis compared to those who did not receive the treatment. The researchers concluded that further large-scale observational studies are needed to confirm these preliminary results.
