DAVID MUIR (ABC NEWS) (Off-camera) And good evening tonight from Tampa. We are here tonight as millions now brace for landfall. A major category 3 hurricane with 120-mile-an-hour winds, just 50 miles now from Sarasota, set to make landfall sometime between 8:30 and 10:00 PM Eastern tonight. Of course, that could still change. But this hurricane is closing in at this hour. And authorities are warning of an historic and dangerous storm surge. There have been at least 20 reported tornadoes on the ground already here.
