Abstract

The article discusses the importance of building trust and fostering relationships in order to effectively communicate and advocate for the role of school psychologists. It introduces a three-tiered communication model that allows school psychologists to establish credibility and develop connections with decision makers. The article provides suggestions for building trust and sharing skills at each tier of communication. It also emphasizes the problem, action, benefit (PAB) model for crafting effective messages.
