Abstract

Researchers at the Chennai Institute of Technology in India have developed a rapid microwave-assisted method for synthesizing a nanocomposite material called GO/SnTe. This material has enhanced electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of caffeine and shows promise for developing novel electrochemical sensors. The researchers found that the graphene oxide modified with tin chalcogenides acts as a real-time sensor with specific applications to real samples such as human milk and drug formulations. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Materials Science Materials in Electronics. [Extracted from the article]
