Abstract

Researchers at Beijing Technology and Business University in China have conducted a study on the use of liposomes to improve the stability and release properties of eugenol, the main component of essential oils. They successfully prepared eugenol liposomes with an average particle size of 40-70 nm and an encapsulation rate of 87.12%. By combining liposomes with electrostatic spinning technology, they also created a nanofibrous membrane that exhibited excellent antioxidant and bacteriostatic properties. This research suggests that the combination of liposomes and electrostatic spinning could have potential applications in the food and medicine industries. [Extracted from the article]
