Abstract
- The New Hampshire Supreme Court is currently considering a challenge to the approval of a proposed casino in Concord. The challenge comes from a Concord resident, Kassey Cameron, who argues that she should have standing to contest the approval of the casino despite living 2,600 feet away from the site. Cameron's lawyer argues that the impact of the casino could still affect her, including increased need for public services. The case began when the Concord Planning Board approved the first phase of the project, sparking backlash from residents. The Supreme Court has accepted the case and mediation has been deemed eligible, but both parties have chosen to continue the legal battle. [Extracted from the article]
