Abstract
- A trio of projects in Detroit backed by prominent figures in the business community are set to transform the city's entrepreneurial landscape. One project involves the renovation of Michigan Central and the nearby Book Depository building, which currently houses the Newlab incubator. The University of Michigan is also constructing a new Center for Innovation in the District Detroit, with funding from Stephen Ross. Additionally, Bedrock LLC, led by Dan Gilbert, is planning a project on the site of the failed Wayne County jail. These projects aim to foster innovation and provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate. [Extracted from the article]
