Abstract

A recent report from the Ministry of Health discusses the treatment of fungal keratitis, a condition caused by fungal invasion of the corneal stroma. The study compared the effectiveness of argon laser photocoagulation and tissue debridement as supportive therapies for resistant cases of fungal keratitis. The results showed that argon laser therapy was more effective in promoting complete healing and reducing corneal scarring compared to debridement. This research provides valuable insights into the management of fungal keratitis and highlights the potential benefits of argon laser therapy. [Extracted from the article]
