Abstract
- A study conducted at Tianjin Medical University General Hospital in China has investigated the proteins associated with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). The researchers used high-throughput analysis to identify differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) in the serum of healthy controls, GBS patients, and CIDP patients. The study found that certain proteins were up-regulated or down-regulated in both GBS and CIDP, and the DEPs have the potential to enhance our understanding of the pathogenesis of these neurological disorders. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Neuroimmunology. [Extracted from the article]
