Abstract
- This article discusses a clinical trial, NCT06582719, that is investigating the use of AI-based counseling for managing gestational diabetes. The trial aims to determine if the use of Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPTs), a type of large language model, can improve glycemic control and patient satisfaction compared to traditional counseling alone. Gestational diabetes is a common condition during pregnancy that can have health risks for both the mother and baby. The integration of AI into healthcare has shown promise, and this study seeks to explore its potential in enhancing patient management and providing personalized solutions. The trial is not yet recruiting participants and is expected to be completed by May 2026. [Extracted from the article]
