Abstract
- A study conducted by researchers at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, has explored the potential of a novel imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivative (MIA) and curcumin, a natural anti-inflammatory compound, for the treatment of ovarian cancer. The study found that MIA, alone and in combination with curcumin, exhibited anti-inflammatory effects by modulating the NF-kB and STAT3 signaling pathways in MDA-MB-231 and SKOV3 cancer cell lines. The research suggests that MIA has the potential to be used as a therapeutic agent for ovarian cancer. [Extracted from the article]
