Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro in Italy explored the potential benefits of Ferula communis L. extract supplementation in alleviating postmenopausal discomfort. The study involved 64 menopausal women who were given a daily dose of 100 mg of the extract for 90 days. The results showed that the supplementation significantly reduced symptoms associated with postmenopausal discomfort, improved sexual behavior, and led to improvements in BMI and oxidative stress levels. These findings suggest that Ferula communis L. extract supplementation may have potential in mitigating menopause dysfunction. [Extracted from the article]
