Abstract

A study conducted at Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea explores the efficacy of botulinum toxin injection for managing abdominal pain in cancer survivors. The study focuses on a case of a cancer survivor in his 70s who experienced recurrent abdominal pain and declined traditional treatment methods due to anxiety. The patient underwent a right-sided unilateral retrocrural single-needle technique, which provided significant and sustained pain relief. The findings highlight the importance of personalized and innovative pain management strategies for cancer survivors with upper abdominal pain. [Extracted from the article]
