Abstract
- A new report from the Arid Lands Cultivation Research Institute presents fresh data on the impact of L-carnitine (LC) supplementation in the drinking water of growing rabbits. The study found that rabbits receiving 0.5 g LC/L in their drinking water showed significant improvements in body weight, feed conversion ratio, and performance index compared to other groups. Hematological parameters and serum lipid profile also improved in the supplemented groups. The research concluded that intermittent supplementation of LC positively influenced the productivity, hematology, serum lipid profile, and carcass traits of growing rabbits.
