Abstract
- A study conducted by the University of Lille in France aimed to identify clusters of autistic children based on their attainment of early developmental milestones (EDMs). The study found four distinct clusters: mild, moderate, severe, and global. The clusters differed in language and motor delays, demographic characteristics, and rates of parental concerns and developmental referrals. The researchers concluded that early autism screening should be tailored to these different developmental profiles. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into understanding and addressing autism in children. [Extracted from the article]
