Abstract
- A new study conducted at the Universidad del Atlantico explores the use of lyophilized polyvinyl alcohol and chitosan scaffolds pre-loaded with silicon dioxide nanoparticles for tissue regeneration. The researchers found that these materials have a soft tissue regenerative capacity and can promote tissue growth and proliferation. The scaffolds also demonstrated good biocompatibility and antimicrobial properties. The study highlights the important role of nanoparticles in optimizing scaffold properties and expanding the boundaries of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. [Extracted from the article]
