Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Anbar has identified bacteria and fungi associated with mastitis in breastfeeding women. Mastitis is a common infection that occurs when bacteria enter the breast tissue through breaks in the skin. The study found that Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Candida spp. were the most prevalent bacteria linked to mastitis. The presence of redness was observed as a significant sign in cases associated with Candida tropicalis. This research provides valuable insights into the microbial diversity of mastitis in breastfeeding women. [Extracted from the article]
