Abstract
- A study conducted by Queen's University Belfast explores the impact of a resilience web resource called "The Wellbeing Shelf" on first-year nursing and midwifery students. The study involved 353 students and used a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative questionnaires and qualitative focus groups. The findings revealed that while the resource offered a variety of activities and fostered a sense of belonging, there were challenges in resource accessibility and student confidence. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding the initial lower resilience of nursing and midwifery students for future interventions in this demanding program. [Extracted from the article]
