Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Cincinnati investigated the effects of abnormal oxygen concentrations on systemic inflammation in a mouse model. The study found that exposure to extreme levels of oxygen induced systemic inflammation, as evidenced by increased levels of proinflammatory cytokines. Additionally, hyperoxia was found to downregulate certain inflammatory pathways while inducing others. However, there was no significant effect on the levels of endothelial stress markers. This research provides valuable insights into the understanding of the impact of oxygen concentrations on inflammation. [Extracted from the article]
