Abstract
- Researchers at the University of Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain have conducted a study on fatty liver disease. The study focused on the compound trans-epsilon-viniferin and its glucuronide metabolites, which have shown potential anti-steatotic properties. The researchers found that one of the glucuronides, trans-epsilon-viniferin-2-glucuronide, was able to lower triglyceride levels and affect various mechanisms related to fatty liver disease. These findings suggest that the glucuronides of trans-epsilon-viniferin may contribute to the observed anti-steatotic properties of the parent compound. The research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into potential treatments for fatty liver disease. [Extracted from the article]
