Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University in China explored the relationship between vitamin D levels and obesity in infertile women. The study analyzed data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and found that lower vitamin D levels were associated with a higher prevalence of obesity and abdominal obesity in infertile women. The researchers concluded that increasing vitamin D supplementation may be beneficial for obese infertile women. This study provides valuable insights into the potential role of vitamin D in managing obesity in this specific population. [Extracted from the article]
