Abstract

A systematic review conducted by researchers at Hassan First University of Settat examined the available tools for assessing breastfeeding knowledge among nursing and midwifery students. The review found that there is a lack of instruments specifically designed for these students, with most tools being designed for assessing mothers' knowledge. The researchers concluded that a comprehensive training module should be included in undergraduate curricula to address this gap and meet the educational requirements set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The study highlights the need for further research and development in this area. [Extracted from the article]
