Abstract

A clinical trial, NCT06540742, has been initiated in northwest China to address the challenges in diagnosing and treating hepatic echinococcosis, a zoonotic disease. The trial aims to develop a comprehensive diagnosis and prognosis system using artificial intelligence technology to accurately identify and classify the disease. The study focuses on the application of the DINOv2 medical image segmentation algorithm and deep learning technology to identify cases of hepatic echinococcosis. It also uses transfer learning and the Deep-SVDD algorithm to predict the risk of postoperative recurrence. The study is observational and has not yet started recruiting participants.
