Abstract
- Researchers from Leshan Normal University have made advances in understanding the proteins of the Cyrtotrachelus buqueti insect. They identified 15 elongation family of very long chain fatty acids (ELO) proteins in the insect's genome, which were found to be stable, hydrophobic, and alkaline. The researchers also discovered key enzyme genes involved in the synthesis of very long chain fatty acids in different stages of the insect's development. This research provides a foundation for further study of the molecular function of these proteins in the growth and development of C. buqueti. [Extracted from the article]
