Abstract

A recent study conducted in Cairo, Egypt, aimed to determine the gene expression and serum profile of indicators associated with clinical endometritis susceptibility in Egyptian buffalo cows. The study found that certain genes were expressed at higher levels in buffaloes with endometritis, while others were down-regulated. Additionally, the serum levels of various substances were significantly different between the endometritis group and the control group. The researchers concluded that these findings could be used as a reference guide for reducing endometritis in Egyptian buffalo cows through selective breeding. [Extracted from the article]
