Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China has explored the use of gold nanoparticles as a potential treatment for ovarian cancer. The study aimed to design pH-sensitive doxorubicin-loaded gold nanoparticles and assess their efficacy in delivering the drug in a controlled manner. The results showed that the gold nanoparticles outperformed the free drug in terms of drug leaching and chemotherapy outcomes. This research offers a promising approach for the development of gold nanoarchitecture for controlled drug delivery in cancer therapy. [Extracted from the article]
