Abstract

A recent report from the Women's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University discusses research on the impact of antibiotic treatment for chronic endometritis (CE) on the pregnancy outcomes of frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. The study found that patients with CE who received antibiotic treatment had lower miscarriage rates and higher singleton live birth rates compared to untreated non-CE patients. The research also identified certain risk factors associated with CE, such as a history of ectopic pregnancy and hydrosalpinx. The findings suggest that antibiotic treatment can improve reproductive outcomes for patients with CE, particularly those with recurrent implantation failure (RIF). [Extracted from the article]
