Abstract

Researchers at Kanazawa University in Japan have developed a new electrochemical biosensor for detecting ADAR1, an enzyme involved in cancer progression. The biosensor uses a DNA aptamer probe and an electrochemical transduction method to measure ADAR1 levels in cell lysates. The sensor demonstrated high sensitivity, detecting as little as 0.53 nM ADAR1 in human embryonic kidney cell lysate. This research has the potential to contribute to cancer prognosis and may lead to the development of an ADAR1 analysis platform. [Extracted from the article]
