Remembering Alan Fox: American Instrument Maker, IDRS Founding Member, and Honorary Member.

Alan Hugo Fox, longtime owner of Fox Products Corporation and champion of the International Double Reed Society passed away in November of 2023 at the age of eighty-nine, The IDRS marked his passing in the last journal of 2023 (46/4) with a short obituary, but here we would like to dedicate a few more pages to remembering our friend, Alan, without whom the Society and its programs, such as the Fernand Gillet-Hugo Fox International Competition, might never have existed.
