Abstract

A new report from Vita-Salute University in Milan, Italy, discusses the treatment of residual dizziness (RD) after repositioning maneuvers for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The researchers assessed the efficacy of a combination of cinnarizine and dimenhydrinate as a treatment for RD. They found that patients treated with this combination had a lower rate of RD and shorter duration of symptoms compared to those who were not treated. The researchers concluded that this combination therapy is useful in the prevention and therapy of RD. [Extracted from the article]
