Abstract

The article examines the issue of excess deaths, or the number of people dying compared with those expected to live, that has become more prevalent in general discussions and social media feeds. It discusses possible reasons why people might be dying more frequently than expected, such as delays in receiving diagnoses or treatments for serious diseases and loss of immune system resilience. It explores the possible role of receiving genetic vaccines in excess mortality.
