Abstract

A recent study conducted in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, explores the reasons why users adopt mobile payment. The study is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Task-Technology Fit (TTF) model, taking into account users' psychological characteristics. The research found that factors such as openness, task-technology fit, and network externalities have a positive impact on the perceived ease of use and usefulness of mobile payment. On the other hand, technology anxiety has a negative effect on the perceived ease of use. The study provides insights into the current trend of mobile payment. [Extracted from the article]
