Abstract
- A research study conducted at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University in China investigated the efficacy and prognosis of transurethral holmium laser en-bloc resection of bladder tumor (HOLRBT) compared to transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) in the treatment of non-invasive bladder cancer. The study included 86 patients with non-invasive bladder cancer, with 43 patients in each treatment group. The results showed that HOLRBT had a positive effect on the treatment of non-invasive bladder cancer, leading to longer progression-free survival time and lower recurrence rates compared to TURBT. The study compared various factors such as operation time, hospital stay, bleeding volume, and lymphocyte subsets, among others. This research provides valuable insights for the treatment of bladder cancer. [Extracted from the article]
