Abstract
- Researchers from University Hospital in Rouen, France have conducted a study on the role of endoscopy in the management of peripheral pulmonary nodules. The study highlights the challenges involved in treating these nodules and emphasizes the importance of specialized skills and advanced technologies. The researchers discuss how advanced endoscopy techniques can aid in the diagnosis and treatment of these nodules, including preoperative marking and fiduciary marker placement for stereotactic radiotherapy treatment. The study also suggests that these techniques may help implement an ablation strategy in the future. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Revue des Maladies Respiratoires journal.
