Abstract

Researchers at Children's Hospital Colorado have conducted a study to evaluate the chemical stability and physical compatibility of a combination of fentanyl, rocuronium, and atropine for intramuscular drug delivery during fetal intervention and surgery. The study found that the combination of these drugs was chemically stable and physically compatible for up to 6 hours. However, after 24 hours, the particle counts exceeded tolerable thresholds. This research provides valuable information for the development of an intramuscular fetal anesthetic cocktail. [Extracted from the article]
