Occupational Therapy Interventions for Older Adults With Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.

Evidence Connection articles provide a clinical application of systematic reviews developed in conjunction with the American Occupational Therapy Association's Evidence-Based Practice Program and illustrate how research evidence from systematic reviews can be used to inform and guide clinical decision-making. Each article in this series summarizes the evidence from published systematic review briefs on a given topic and presents an application of the evidence to a related clinical case. This Evidence Connection article presents a case report of a person with dementia who is transitioning to a new setting. The occupational therapy evaluation and intervention process is described.
