Abstract
- University of Chicago Medicine has reached an agreement with New York investment bank Mizuho Americas to save money on the lease for its outpatient clinic in Streeterville. Mizuho purchased revenue bonds from the Illinois Finance Authority to acquire the medical portion of the Retail at River East property, with UChicago Medicine's rent covering the bond payments. The deal allows for continued lease of the space at a lower cost, with options to buy at the end of the lease term. The clinic offers a range of services and was consolidated into the River East location in 2019. [Extracted from the article]
