Abstract
- Researchers from Edge University in Izmir, Turkey have conducted a study on trivalent metal complexes of a specific organic compound called N, N, O-Schiff base. The complexes were synthesized and characterized using various techniques, and a distorted octahedral structure around the metal ions was proposed. The study also involved theoretical calculations and found that the synthesized metal complexes were more stable than the free ligand. The complexes showed promising antioxidant and antimicrobial activities, and molecular docking studies revealed their binding to specific targets through hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic contacts. This research provides valuable insights into the chemical physics and pharmacological potentials of these metal complexes. [Extracted from the article]
