Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of South Africa explores the synthesis and potential applications of cadmium oxide nanoparticles. The study focuses on the one-step calcination process of a tetradentate Schiff base-Cd(II) complex to produce these nanoparticles. The researchers conducted various analyses to characterize the nanoparticles and found that they exhibited antioxidant and antibacterial properties. The study suggests that these compounds have potential therapeutic applications in the biomedical field. [Extracted from the article]
