Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Islamic Azad University in Varamin, Iran, explores the use of metal-organic framework (MOF) nanoparticles for the co-delivery of letrozole and epirubicin in breast cancer therapy. The researchers found that the MOF nanoparticles demonstrated adaptive release capabilities in the breast cancer environment, with a higher apoptotic rate and toxicity compared to other treatments. The study concludes that MOF nanocarriers have potential as stimuli-responsive co-delivery systems for various drugs. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology. [Extracted from the article]
