Abstract
- Tim Healea, a golfer from Cameron Park, California, has overcome numerous physical challenges to continue playing the sport he loves. Healea developed Osgood-Schlatter disease as a teenager and later developed rheumatoid arthritis, which eventually led to the amputation of both his legs below the knee. Despite these setbacks, Healea has returned to the golf course and has become a top-ranked player among senior double-amputees. He is now working to spread awareness of adaptive golf and is organizing the Northern California Amputee and Adaptive Golf Classic. He hopes to inspire others facing similar challenges to continue pursuing their passions. [Extracted from the article]
