Abstract

Researchers from the University of Tehran have published a study on tissue engineering, specifically focusing on the synthesis of akermanite nanoparticles using a microwave-assisted method. The study explores the use of citric acid as a chelating agent to optimize the calcination temperature for synthesizing pure akermanite nanoparticles. The researchers developed a predictive model using machine learning to understand the relationship between synthesis parameters and the resulting purity and particle size of akermanite. The study concludes that the synthesized akermanite nanoparticles show potential suitability for bone tissue engineering applications. [Extracted from the article]
